Understand the total before choosing its number group · Reviewed September 2026
An Odd/Even football market on BBGame asks whether the total number of counted goals finishes in the odd or even number group. The calculation is simple, but the chosen fixture and the stated match period must be correct before the total can be understood.
Odd and even totals in plain terms
Odd numbers include 1, 3, 5, 7 and so on. Even numbers include 0, 2, 4, 6 and later multiples of two. If a counted match ends 2–1, the total is three and the Odd selection corresponds to that total. A 1–1 result gives two, which belongs to Even. A 0–0 score also produces an even total because zero is an even number.
1–0
One counted goal gives an Odd total.
2–0
Two counted goals give an Even total.
2–1
Three counted goals give an Odd total.
2–2
Four counted goals give an Even total.
3–2
Five counted goals give an Odd total.
0–0
Zero counted goals give an Even total.
The market period changes what is counted
A full-match market commonly uses the time described in its rules, which may exclude extra time and a penalty shoot-out. A first-half market stops counting at half-time. Other variants can relate to a team, a competition period or live play from the current score. Always read the market label rather than assuming that every Odd/Even choice covers the same interval.
Check four details on the mobile slip
- Confirm the teams and competition so a similarly named fixture is not selected.
- Read whether the market covers the match, first half or another defined period.
- Check that Odd or Even matches the intended number group.
- Review the displayed information once more before confirming the selection.
Live markets can pause
During a match, BBGame may temporarily close the market while a goal, card, video review or other important event is being confirmed. The displayed information can change when it reopens. Avoid repeated taps during that pause and wait until the market clearly shows its current status.
Settlement is based on the counted total
The final calculation uses the result and period defined by the market rules. A later correction by the recognised event source may affect settlement under those rules. If a result in account history is unclear, note the fixture, market name and time, then use the support route available to the signed-in member.
A measured way to follow football markets
Odd/Even does not require predicting the exact score, but that does not make the outcome certain. Treat every fixture separately, set an entertainment limit and avoid increasing activity simply because an earlier selection did not match the result.
Odd/Even questions
Is a goalless result Odd or Even?
Zero is an even number, so 0–0 belongs to Even when the selected market counts that completed period and shows no different rule.
Are extra-time goals included?
They are included only if the market wording says so. Many match markets use their stated regulation period, so check the current BBGame rules.
Why did a live option disappear?
A live market can pause while an event is verified or while the displayed information updates. Wait for a clear reopened status.
